Super Silver Haze

Super Silver Haze is a Sativa dominant hybrid that was first created by Shantibaba and Nevil Schoenmakers during their time at Green House Seeds. This famous hybrid is a 3-way cross of Skunk #1, Northern Lights #5 and Haze. Super Silver Haze was the first strain to win the High Times Cannabis Cup 3 years in a row, from 1997 to 1999. She is arguably the most popular Sativa dominant hybrid known to man and said to be one of Nevil’s personal favorites. This strain remains a popular choice amongst recreational smokers and medical patients alike.

TASTE & SMELL –

Super Silver Haze’s buds have a nuanced bouquet, a fruity aroma that’s both sweet and spicy with added hints of earth and wood. Once blazed, herbal smoke with spicy and sour hints of citrus and earth fill the air!

EFFECTS –

Her effects are fast-acting and heavy-hitting, unleashing a soaring head high that’s more energizing than racy. Long-lasting mood-elevation, heightened focus, increased sociability and feelings of euphoria are also common traits of this potent bud.

MEDICAL USES –

Medically, this strain has been known to help those suffering from stress, fatigue and depression.

GROW INFO –

Super Silver Haze is considered a moderately difficult strain to cultivate and perhaps not the ideal choice for the novice grower. She grows medium-height, not too tall for a Sativa dominant hybrid. Plants display vigorous growth and have a great structure with long leaves and branching. This versatile variety thrives indoors and out, particularly in equatorial regions with subtropical to tropical conditions. Super Silver Haze has a flowering period of nine to eleven weeks and is ready for harvest by mid-October when grown outdoors in the Northern Hemisphere. Additionally, her vigorous growth and long-limbed branches make her a good candidate for the Scrog method of cultivation.
