Lineage :

(Marleys Collie) x (Early Pearl)

Jamaican Pearl is an 85% Sativa dominant hybrid created by Sensi Seeds. The strain is a cross of Marley’s Collie and Early Pearl and was selectively bred over numerous generations with the intent of creating a classic tropical Sativa that could be grown in European climates. The Marley’s Collie female was selected for her Jamaican heritage while the Early Pearl male was chosen for its tropical flavor profile and ability to produce fast-flowering offspring.

This strains flavor profile is tropical, fruity and spicy and the smoke tastes like sweet berries with a hint of spice on exhale.

The effects of Jamaican Pearl are classic Sativa, being energizing and uplifting. Users commonly report feeling creative, happy and focused. Those with a low tolerance to cannabis may want to avoid this strain, as some users have reported negative side effects such as paranoia and dizziness.

Medically, this strain has many applications. Her ability to heighten focus makes Jamaican Pearl a good choice for those suffering from ADD/ADHD. She can also help increase one’s appetite and has been known to be used in the treatment of anxiety, stress and mood disorders.

Jamaican Pearl is a moderately easy strain to grow. She has the potential to grow into a large plant and is a good candidate for Super Cropping and the Scrog method of cultivation. For a Sativa dominant hybrid, she finishes in a relatively fast 7 to 9 weeks. Indoor growers can expect yields of up to 18 ounces per square meter. Outdoors she is ideally suited to the milder European climate and will finish September/October with up to 28 ounces per plant possible.
