Jack Frost is a worked line that started with the selection and interbreeding of three strains from Sensi Seed stock; Jack Herer, White Widow and Northern Lights #5. This three-way cross was then bred with a Rainbow Kashmiri male that the breeder had located at source. The resulting offspring were selected and bred for a further three years until Jack Frost was ready for public consumption.

TASTE & SMELL –

She has frosty buds that are earthy with notes of citrus and a mild scent of skunk. Her smoke is also earthy and citrusy with lingering hints of lemon and pine.

EFFECTS –

Known for her potent and long-lasting effects, Jack Frost has an overall happy blissful high that’s initially energy-boosting and gradually becomes more relaxing and sedating. Jack Frost can also inspire creativity and lift mood, offering a cerebral buzz that makes for a dreamy but functional headspace.

MEDICAL USES –

Medically, this strain has been known to be beneficial for those suffering from eating disorders by helping to restore appetite. She can also aid those dealing with depression, insomnia and stress.

GROW INFO –

Jack Frost is a relatively easy strain to grow and is generally low maintenance. This strain produces medium-height plants whose spade-shaped buds are frosted in resin giving them a snowcapped appearance. She has a flowering period of around eight to ten weeks indoors and is ready for harvest by October when grown outdoors in the Northern Hemisphere. Growers will find she responds well to organic feeding and really shows her optimum when grown this way.

SEED AVAILABILITY –

For those interested in obtaining Jack Frost genetics, it should be noted that this is a strain only available in clone form as seeds were discontinued some time ago by the breeder.
