Tangie by DNA Genetics is a Sativa dominant hybrid whose genetics are a bit of a mystery. This is partly due to the breeder’s vague description of “Clone Only x Crocketts Selection” when listing the parent strains. It has also been noted that Tangie bears an uncanny resemblance to other “Orange” strains and suggestions of unethical breeding practices have been rife with both Cali-O and Agent Orange being put forward as possible uncredited surrogates in the strains inception. Whatever the case Tangie has been a hit, winning every competition she has entered!

TASTE & SMELL –

Tangie flowers have a sickly sweet tangerine and citrus scent that is not typically sharp but soft and floral.

EFFECTS –

Tangie’s qualities are a complementary blend of euphoric and energizing effects. Her high is cerebrally uplifting and motivational, encouraging creativity and giving an overall feeling of contentment.

MEDICAL USES –

Medically, Tangie has been known to be of benefit for those suffering from depression, anxiety and can also be of aid in the treatment of ADD and ADHD.

GROW INFO –

Tangie can be a moderately difficult plant to cultivate. Perhaps not the best choice for those new to growing cannabis. Considered a tall plant, Tangie exhibits traits that lean towards her Sativa heritage. Her compact buds are elongated but not overly slender, with good trichome coverage and resin production. Her structure lends itself well for the Scrog method of cultivation and she responds well to topping and stress techniques to shape her growth. She has a flowering period of nine to ten weeks and is ready for harvest by late September when grown outdoors in the Northern Hemisphere.

SEED AVAILABILITY –

Tangie seeds are readily available in both regular and feminized forms directly from DNA Genetics and through authorized online vendors.
