Thai Tanic is an 85% Sativa dominant hybrid that’s a cross of Early Thai and Skunk #1. This strain was originally developed in the early 80s by Dave Watson (Sam the Skunkman) of Cultivator’s Choice. Cultivator’s Choice eventually shut down and Thai Tanic was later released by The Flying Dutchmen where she is still available for purchase in seed form.

TASTE & SMELL –

Thai Tanic buds retain the classic Thai chocolate smell and taste, with the sweet aroma of chocolate blended with spicy woody undertones.

EFFECTS –

Her onset produces an almost instant cerebral buzz that’s mildly trippy. This extremely potent high is clear-headed and euphoric, stimulating creativity and heightening focus, making for a suitable “Wake-n-Bake” strain.

MEDICAL USES –

Medically, this strain has been known to help treat symptoms of PMS and menopause. Additionally, Thai Tanic is also a great choice for headaches and stress-related problems.

GROW INFO –

This strain is considered to be a relatively difficult plant to cultivate. Perhaps not the best choice for the novice grower. She produces medium height, compact Sativa-like plants with thin, dark green classic long leaves and dense foxtail buds with a high calyx to leaf ratio. Her flowering cycle ranges from nine to eleven weeks. Potentially yielding up to 22 ounces per square meter indoors and up to 28 ounces per plant outdoors.

SEED AVAILABILITY –

For those interested in acquiring Thai Tanic genetics, it should be noted that at the time of writing The Flying Dutchman’s website is out of commission. There is a chance this strain may still be found in stock at various authorized online vendors.
