Space Queen

Space Queen is an evenly balanced 50/50 hybrid that was created by Vic High of the British Columbia Growers Association. This award-winning strain is a mix of Romulan and Cinderella 99. There is also an F2 version of Space Queen referred to as either “Space Jill” or “Space Dude” which was selected by Subcool of TGA Subcool from Vic High’s original Space Queen seed stock. It has been said that Vic High’s original version of this hybrid was lost and Subcool’s version is what remains on the market today. Furthermore, TGA Subcool put their Space Dude stud to work, becoming the parent to roughly 60% of the seed company’s hybrids.

TASTE & SMELL –

This strain offers a complex terpene profile which is mainly fruity with sour notes of candy combined with the scent of rotting fruit. She is known to provide a sour cherry taste with notes of mango.

EFFECTS –

The effects of this strain are uplifting and energizing. She induces a motivating and active high that may be too intense for those new to cannabis. Space Queen’s onset brings on an almost instant head and body buzz that’s quite racy and can be paranoia-inducing. Mild doses make for a mood-boosting happy high while higher doses can be mildly psychedelic in effect.

MEDICAL USES –

Medically, she is beneficial when treating conditions such as social anxiety, phobias, PTSD. She has also been shown to reduce pain and inflammation.

GROW INFO –

Considered a rather difficult strain to cultivate, Space Queen produces tall lanky plants with heavy branching that will require lots of support. Her buds are large and resinous. She has an indoor flowering period of eight to nine weeks and is ready for harvest by October when grown outdoors in the Northern Hemisphere. Space Queen plants display rapid growth during their first three weeks of flowering. It’s also interesting to mention that tiny seeds and super fast germination are common traits of this hybrid.
