Highland Thai is a 100% Sativa heirloom strain that originates from the Northwestern region of Thailand, which straddles the Burmese border. This strain is cultivated by the local hill tribes of that region and was later developed through open pollination outside of Thailand by The Real Seed Company. This Thai heirloom displays a difference in appearance and effects in comparison to the typical Thai genotype originating from the Lao-Thai border region.

TASTE & SMELL –

Highland Thai produces a predominantly musky aroma of lemony citrus. In general, her flavors mirror her aroma with one outlying phenotype of note producing purple-bluish hues and delivering an unusual bouquet of carrot and mango.

EFFECTS –

Regarding effects, this herb is not for the faint-hearted, delivering an almost instant racy head high that can be borderline psychedelic. Her cerebral effects are also thought-provoking and fog-free.

MEDICAL USES –

Patients experiencing mild to chronic fatigue and seeking a natural alternative to traditional over-the-counter medications have been known to utilize this strains highly energizing qualities.

GROW INFO –

Highland Thai plants grow tall with the potential of reaching 4 meters in height, producing a large main single stem with irregular branching and leaves that are broader than the typical Sativa. Outdoors, in the Northern Hemisphere, this strain is usually ready to harvest by the first frost, with the potential for an amazing yield of super sticky and large resinous buds. Additionally, some Highland Thai plants may express purplish/blueish hues depending on the phenotype.

SEED AVAILABILITY –

For those interested in acquiring Highland Thai genetics, regular seeds can be purchased directly from The Real Seed Company’s website or through several authorized online vendors.
