Hash Plant

Hash Plant is a term used to denote a squat Indica variety that is extremely resinous and synonymous with the production of top-quality hashish in Afghanistan. One version offered is the multiple award-winning 90% Indica dominant hybrid that was first released in seed form in 1987 by Nevil Schoenmakers, the founder of “The Seed Bank of Holland”. This strain started her journey in the early 1980s when she was first developed in the Northwest USA and eventually made her way to Holland in clone form.

This clone, selected from the finest Afghani hash plant specimens from the Hindu Kush mountains was then stabilized and crossed with Northern Lights #1 in order to create the famous “Hash Plant” we know of today. She quickly became a popular strain for the seed company and has been used as a building block in many of today’s modern hybrids.
