Green Crack

Green Crack is a Sativa leaning hybrid that was created by Cecil C in Athens Ohio, back in the early 90s. Originally named Cush and later re-dubbed “Green Crack” by the famous rapper and weed connoisseur Snoop Dogg due to its strong energizing Sativa high. This multiple award-winning herb is a mix of SSSC 89 Skunk #1 and Afghani landrace genetics.

TASTE & SMELL –

Green Crack is known for its fruity citrus aroma blended with milder earthy and woody notes. Once blazed, this strain provides sweet fruity flavors with tropical hints of mango.

EFFECTS – 

Named after her energizing crack-like effects, this strain offers upbeat mental bliss without being racy. This mildly psychedelic herb is known to increase creativity, heighten focus and alertness while providing some Indica body-focused traits.

MEDICAL USES –

Medically, Greek Crack’s energizing properties help enhance productivity and can be used to help fight fatigue, depression, migraines and stress. 

GROW INFO – 

Considered an easy grow, this strain is suitable for both indoor and outdoor cultivation and performs best when grown outdoors in sunny Mediterranean-like conditions with low humidity. She grows medium-height with an open framed structure and has long thin pale green to yellowish leaves. Her Indica structured buds are super sticky, dense and covered with rust-colored hairs and milky white trichomes. 

Green Crack plants have an indoor flowering period of eight to nine weeks and are ready for harvest by October when grown outdoors in the Northern Hemisphere. She is susceptible to powdery-mildew despite her strong resistance to mold. Additionally, both Sea of Green and Screen of Green cultivation methods can be utilized to increase yields when growing Green Crack. Additionally, this strain responds well to high water uptake and doesn’t require topping.
