Gorilla Glue #4

Gorilla Glue #4 or more commonly known as GG4 is an Indica dominant clone-only hybrid. Her genetics are Chem’s Sister x Chocolate Diesel x Sour Dubb. The back story is of interest for the fact that her creation was a totally unplanned affair, the result of an unintended pollination due to a Sour Dubb with hermaphrodite tendencies lurking in the garden. GG4 is a strain that has lived up to its own hype and is a keeper in many a grower’s gardens. Unlike many other elite cuts, this strain has been freely shared and not hoarded, swiftly leading it to become very prominent and popular. Joesy Whales the breeder was forced to change the name of Gorilla Glue to GG4 after the Gorilla Glue Company (who make sticky glue, tape, etc..) objected, saying the name infringed on their copyrights.

TASTE & SMELL –

GG4 has a piney, earthy smell with hints of diesel, the smoke is pungent with slight chocolate notes on the palate.

EFFECTS –

Her effects are instantaneous, coming in calm relaxing waves that give you a clear focused high. GG4 is a very potent strain with a high THC content and should be respected accordingly. Overindulging may lead to being glued to the couch and useless!

MEDICAL USES –

Medically GG4 has been known to aid those suffering from insomnia and other sleeping disorders. She can also be of benefit when treating chronic pain due to her sedative qualities.

GROW INFO –

GG4 is by all accounts a relatively easy plant to grow. She is known for her ultra resinous buds and her trichome coverage is to the point where fan leaves get touched by the frost! Her growing traits make her a good fit for the Scrog method of cultivation and she has good resistance to bugs and is a generally hardy plant. Indoor growers can expect yields of up to 18 ounces per square meter with the flowering cycle taking 8 to 9 weeks. Given the correct attention outdoors, growers have been known to reach yields of up to 22 ounces per plant.
