Black Tuna is a hybrid cross of Lamb’s Bread and Herijuana that was created by 5 Star Organic, an outfit that hails from British Columbia, Canada. She was named after a gang of smugglers, infamous for illegally importing large amounts of Columbian weed into the United States back in the 1970s.

TASTE & SMELL –

Black Tuna has a predominantly pungent and skunky aroma with earthy undertones while producing a woody and herbal taste once blazed.

EFFECTS –

Her uplifting and euphoric high is well-balanced with a dreamy, lazy and warming body melt. She is a potent hybrid renowned for her strong effects and intense mental stimulation.

MEDICAL USES –

Black Tuna was developed for medical use and quickly became 5 Star Organic’s flagship strain. Her high THC content and narcotic qualities make her beneficial in helping to treat those suffering from chronic pain, PTSD and insomnia. She can also be helpful for patients with gastrointestinal disorders, easing the pain associated with abdominal cramping.

GROW INFO –

Black Tuna is considered a moderately difficult strain to grow. If allowed, she can grow quite tall. Her buds are compact and dark green with hints of purple. Indoors, she can yield up to 13 ounces per square meter and will flower for around eight to nine weeks. Outdoors, she is ready for harvest by late September when grown in the Northern Hemisphere.

SEED AVAILABILITY –

For those interested in obtaining Black Tuna genetics, it should be noted that this is a clone-only strain as seeds were discontinued some time ago by the breeder.
