Kwazulu is a 100% pure Sativa heirloom strain that originates from the Northern slopes of the Drakensberg Ridge, Kwazulu-Natal in South Africa. This strain has been cultivated for generations by African warrior tribes who were said to have used the plant in battle preparations prior to the first British attack in 1879. It is rumored that the strains powerful, long-lasting high enabled the outnumbered tribes to fight off the British forces.

TASTE & SMELL –

Kwazulu buds produce a fruity aroma with light notes of spice and provide smokers with a sweet floral taste. It is also interesting to note that some phenotypes have been known to produce a mild aniseed flavor and aroma.

EFFECTS –

Kwazulu’s potent effects make for a perfect “Wake-n-Bake” strain, producing a long-lasting energizing high that’s uplifting and euphoric.

MEDICAL USES –

Medically, this powerful Sativa has proven herself useful for helping in the treatment of fatigue. Offering patients a much-needed boost of energy.

GROW INFO –

Kwazulu is a suitable plant for both indoor and outdoor cultivation. She is fast-flowering and produces medium-height plants that are quite compact, despite being pure Sativa. Indoors, Kwazulu will flower for eight to nine weeks with potential yields of up to 12 ounces per square meter. Outdoors, she can produce up to 18 ounces per plant and is ready for harvest by mid-October when grown in the Northern Hemisphere. Although Kwazulu is a strong and sturdy plant with a strong resistance to most pests and molds, she is considered a moderately difficult strain to grow and perhaps not the best choice for those new to cannabis cultivation.

SEED AVAILABILITY –

Kwazulu seeds are readily available for purchase in both regular and feminized forms directly from World of Seeds’ website.
