Maui Waui is considered a difficult strain to cultivate. She produces tall lanky plants with thin branching, long internode spacing and long serrated leaves. This equatorial landrace is known to yield large dark green fox-tailed buds that are resin-drenched and make for a viable source for hash making and oil extractions. She has an indoor flowering period of nine to eleven weeks and is ready for harvest by mid-October when grown outdoors in the Northern Hemisphere.
