Jean Guy is a 60% Sativa dominant hybrid that was created by The House of the Great Gardener in Quebec, Canada and made famous by the Montreal Compassion Club. The strain is said to be derived from White Widow, although some have claimed she is a cross of White Widow with an unknown hybrid.
TASTE & SMELL –
The buds of this Sativa-leaner produce a sour citrus odor with hints of lemon and pine. The smoke has a pleasant sweet citrusy, earthy flavor and a piney-lemon after taste.
Jean Guy contains a high THC content of up to 25% and a decent 1.4% CBD. This abundance in cannabinoids creates an uplifting and euphoric experience for users. The strain is a bit of a creeper with a strong cerebral buzz which helps increase creativity and leaves users feeling more social.
MEDICAL USES –
Medically, Jean Guy can alleviate some of the symptoms associated with fibromyalgia, including chronic pain, difficulty sleeping and mild fatigue.
GROW INFO –
Inexperienced growers may want to avoid this strain as she is considerably difficult to grow and is not a great yielder. This strain grows medium height with thick lateral branching and shows decent resistance to most pests and plant disease. Indoors, growers can expect yields up to 18 ounces per square meter and outdoors 18 ounces per plant is achievable.
SEED AVAILABILITY –
Great news for those interested in growing this strain. Feminized seeds have been made readily available for purchase directly through the House of the Great Gardener’s website.
